Because of the techniques used no two scarves will be alike but it will also be impossible to predict exactly what the result will be.

Scarves and Ties are  produced to order. You pick the look you like and tell me the colours you want. I produce the item, post a photograph and if you like it you buy it.

Produced using techniques similar to tie dying to create a range of abstract patterns.

Available in 130 x 35cm or 150 x 40cm.

Random patterns created by tie dying techniques.

Hand Painted Scarves

These are stretched on a frame and painted - this gives more control than dying but I still tend to work on abstract patterns.

Salt Patterns

Swirls of colours are applyed and then 'salted' and left for the colours to blend. 

Gutta Patterns

Lines of gutta applied before the paint subtly alter the spread of the colours as well as giving a surface design.
